About SpyRoller

Casino reviews, no cover story

SpyRoller is an independent review site for Curaçao-licensed online casinos, written in English for players around the world. We read the small print, check the licence records and say plainly what a casino’s terms mean for you.

What we do

Curaçao licenses a large share of the online casinos that English-speaking players come across, and they range from careful operators to sites that bury their rules. SpyRoller exists to tell them apart. Each review sets out who runs the casino, which licence covers which domain, what the welcome offer is really worth once wagering, deadlines and win caps are counted, and how much you can withdraw, and how fast.

Our country guides look at the same casinos from where you live: whether a casino lets you in, what its terms say about your country, what your own country’s law says, and what you give up by playing offshore. We cover the UK, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.

Who writes SpyRoller

Two writers, each checking the other’s work. Laura Stovall writes the country guides and the pages on licences and safer gambling. Martin Khubert writes the casino reviews and the guides to bonuses, payments and betting. Every review, guide and country page names its writer and its checker at the top and again at the bottom.

How we work

  • Sources first. Facts come from the casino’s own terms, the regulator’s register and the law itself, each with the date we read it.
  • The same questions for every casino, in the same order, so reviews can be compared. Our method lists them.
  • Nothing invented. We don’t claim deposits, withdrawals or support chats we didn’t make; where a point would need a real-money test, the review says so.
  • Checked from your country. Country guides record what each casino showed a logged-out visitor from that country.
  • Two people on every page: one writes, one checks.

How SpyRoller makes money

Some links on SpyRoller are affiliate links: if you open an account at a casino through one of them, the casino or its affiliate programme may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing. Commission can influence which casinos we cover; it doesn’t change what our reviews say about them. Our editorial and affiliate policy sets out the rules, including why our country guides carry no sign-up links at all.

What we are not

  • Not a casino. We don’t take bets or hold anyone’s money.
  • Not a regulator or a complaints service. We can’t resolve a dispute with a casino, but every review names the complaint route that can.
  • Not legal or tax advisers. Country guides explain the law as written, with sources, but they aren’t advice for your situation.

Gambling responsibly

SpyRoller is for adults. Gambling should be entertainment you can afford to lose, never a way to make money or pay off debts. Our safer gambling page lists the warning signs, the tools casinos offer and free helplines in each country we cover.
